In Q2 2024, Central America's top navigation and maps apps on the Android platform exhibited diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a detailed look at the performance of the top 5 apps, with data sourced from Sensor Tower.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a consistent number of weekly downloads, peaking at around 86K in the final week of June. Despite fluctuations, its active users remained robust, starting at 1.05M in early April and slightly increasing to 1.04M by the end of June.

MapXplorer: Navigation, Radar experienced a notable decline in weekly downloads, dropping from 33.2K in the first week of April to 11.5K by the end of June. However, its weekly revenue remained relatively stable, hovering around $97 to $119. The active users showed a positive trend, growing from 65.9K to 89.6K over the quarter.

Google Earth had an impressive surge in weekly downloads, especially in June, where it spiked to 52.4K. This was accompanied by a significant increase in active users, which rose from 200.5K in early April to a peak of 287.8K in mid-June.
